Amalfi Coast- Italian Riviera |
It feels a little foolish to combine all of the
Amalfi Coast, Capri and Sorrento into one blog post, but at least it represents
the kind of whistle-stop experience that we had of each of these amazing
places.

The Equinox docked in Salerno, Amalfi Coast |
We began the tour on a boat ride down the Amalfi
Coast. This area is absolutely stunning, and part of the Italian Riveria. The
towns of Amalfi and Positano, among others could be seen nestled within the
gorgeous coastline.

Italian Riviera |
On arrival at the Isle of Capri, the views were
already gorgeous, with rugged cliffs and colourful buildings down to the azure
blue water.
We caught a cable car up to the town of Capri and
walked to the other side to capture a couple of iconic pictures, where I bumped
into a good-looking tour escort. I took a photo of him and he took one of me.

MASSIVE lemons- nearly the size of my head |

Sorrento from the sea |
On returning to the boat, we continued along the
bay of Napoli towards Sorrento. The town oozed charm and a lot of Limón cello.
As well as being a beautiful city, it is most famous for being the home of
Limón cello, and I was able to sample some after a delicious lunch here. The
time there was really limited, so maybe we will make it back later in life J
